As we all know that Mr. Uttam kumar Gurung has passed away last wednesday (22nd of July 2009) and I am writing to you all to inform that funeral date has been confirmed on friday, 31st of july, 2009 (from 9am to 2.30pm) at READING CREMATORIUM AND HENLEY ROAD CEMETERY, ALL HALLOWS ROAD, CAVERSHAM, READING, BERKSHIRE, RG4 5LP. I would like to request you all to attend the funeral ceremony to support Mr. Uttam's family at this very sad moment. On the day, funeral director will handover his body to us at 9.15 am at the crematorium and Pachyu and kyabri priests will be conducting rites and rituals according to our religion and culture inorder to let the soul rest in peace in heaven. Since the funeral is about 5 hours and taking place in an open area, you might need umbrella and mat in case if it rains or sunshine. So please bring along umbrellas and mat. After the funeral, on the same night there will be kyaun chasi garne (bato marne programme) and followed by saturday morning chokhiaune at the resident. I would be grateful for your cooperation and support to make the day successful.
